Last year, thanks to your efforts in our inaugural Violet Effect campaign, your friends, family and the entire Violet Foundation network generated over $175,000 to support families who receive a brain cancer diagnosis for their child. The Violet Effect is one of our two cornerstone annual fundraising projects along with Violet’s Walk in the Park in the fall and ongoing corporate fundraising.

We are asking you once again, our key partners, to rally your friends, family, and networks to support our collective mission. By starting a fundraising campaign, you and your friends and family are helping families battling brain cancer in the moments they need help the most. You help your friends and family feel good about doing good.

The Violet Foundation exists to:

Support families financially after their child receives a brain cancer diagnosis. Every part of those families lives is changed in that moment, and besides the costs of pursuing treatment many times a parent has to step back from work to take their child for tests, treatments and be present with their son or daughter during this time. The financial burden can be staggering and through hyper-efficient grants of up to $5000 the Violet Foundation offers direct support when families need it most – fast.
Invest in leading-edge medical research to develop treatments for brain cancer. Each year the depth of data and technology available for the best and brightest in their fields to advance the science improves. So far the Violet Foundation has invested in 12 research projects totaling $2.4M advancing the science to better the outcomes for the kids who are receiving diagnoses every day.

Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help we can make a material difference for better treatments for these kids. As always, the Violet Foundation is 100% volunteer run so all donations can go directly to grant recipients and research.
